Hollywood Theatre Presents... CRAFT CLUB CINEMA: SOME LIKE IT HOT Monday, February 23rd 2026 Embroidery Workshop with Sadie Gilker: 6pm Doors for Movie: 7pm Show: 7:30pm Rated PG All Ages (19+ bar) Craft Club Cinema returns after high demand for its third edition with a playful, glamorous screening of Billy Wilder's iconic film Some Like It Hot. Bring your knitting, embroidery, sketchbook, crochet, coloring books, any craft you're currently loving (or curious to try!) and settle in for a cute and cozy evening of making + movie magic. Grab your tickets fast as this event often sells out! We'll keep the lights soft so you can stitch, sketch, and create while Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon light up the screen. Whether you're a dedicated maker, experimenting with a new hobby, or just want to pop in and see what all the fuss is about, Craft Club Cinema is all about slowing down, connecting, and enjoying a communal crafting movie experience. Not sure what to make and want to learn something new? We've got you. ✂️ Pre-Show Embroidery Workshop with Sadie Gilker Upgrade your night with a hands-on embroidery workshop before the film, led by local artist and educator Sadie Gilker (they/she). This workshop is designed to be approachable, relaxing, and inspiring for all skill levels. Sadie will guide participants through a thoughtfully designed embroidery project, sharing foundational techniques, creative tips, and encouragement to make the piece your own. Whether you’re brand new to embroidery or an experienced stitcher, you’ll leave with new skills and a project you can continue during the movie. All materials are provided. Workshop spots are limited. Sadie Gilker is an avid embroiderer, painter, and designer whose practice explores texture, memory, and the natural world. With over 10 years of embroidery experience and a teaching approach rooted in sustainability and collective care, Sadie creates a welcoming space for curiosity, experimentation, and connection.
