Hollywood Theatre Presents... VANCOUGAR COMEDY With Nancy Ho and Amber Harper-Young Friday, February 13th 2026 Doors 6pm Show 7pm 19+ Event No reserved seating. All seats are first come, first served VANCOUGAR COMEDY features Amber Harper-Young and Nancy Ho – two funny and fearless cougar comedians who’ve seen it all and survived to tell the jokes. They’re magnetic, unfiltered, and armed with savage stories about overconfident young men, older men who ghost their own feelings, red flags disguised as charm, and the occasional green flag unicorn. Expect sharp takes on modern dating, brutally honest confessions, and the kind of laughter that only comes from women who truly DGAF anymore; proving romance after 40 isn’t over… it’s just way funnier. If you’ve ever dated or simply wondered how the hell anyone survives dating after 40, this show is for you! Amber Harper-Young is a nationally touring headliner known for her bold, colourful comedy about desire, identity, and dating when you know exactly who you are; and what you won’t tolerate. Amber has appeared at Just for Laughs Vancouver and Grindstone Comedy Fest, and has opened for renowned comedians Aparna Nancherla, Mike MacDonald, Fahim Anwar, Zoltan Kazsas, Sophie Buddle and Drew Dunn. Her absurd colourful style of self-deprecating comedy is available on BC’s Just for Laughs Originals Album: Rooting and Tooting and her EP, Drenched. Nancy Ho is a high-energy comedian who blends silliness with sharp truth. She’ll charm you, make you laugh, and (like your mom) give you a swift kick if you don’t act right. With zero patience for nonsense, her comedy tackles dating, emotional labour, and grown-woman standards. She has opened for comedian Emma Willmann and other acclaimed comedians, including Juno and Canadian Screen Award winners and nominees. Her credits include Just for Laughs Vancouver, South Rock Comedy Festival, Nanaimo Fringe Festival, and television appearances on CTV, Crave and NBC.
