Description
This summer, Eric Carlin's Half-Dead returns to Buffalo Iron Works to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and the Grateful Dead at Rich Stadium. That historic concert, part of Farm Aid II, took place on the Fourth of July in 1986, just a few days before Jerry Garcia lapsed into a diabetic coma that almost ended his career. This July 4th, we'll keep the music and memories alive with a full afternoon tribute to three legendary artists. Were you there that day in '86? Come share your stories with us! "Wave that flag, wave it wide and high..."
What Deadheads are saying about ECHD...
“One of the best live music experiences I’ve had in a few decades! We all miss Jerry, and y’all did him proud!”
“An outstanding band easily on par with Dark Star Orchestra. If you love GD music, you’re in for a treat!”
“Bravo to the best Dead band clearly in our part of the country. Please don’t ever stop playing.”
“The people around us just couldn’t believe how good you guys are! A number of us see all the Dead bands in the area routinely and our consensus is you guys are the best and by a long shot.”
“I was pretty much done seeing Dead-inspired bands in bars. But I have to say, you guys are really a cut above. You will see me again.”
