Description
Choreo & Cocktails is part dance class, part dance party, and is made for beginners and people who just want to let loose and have fun.
Hosted by Danny DiCesare, a former professional dancer in Los Angeles who has danced for pop icons including Charli xcx, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson, and more. This event is a beginner-friendly, no-pressure space where anyone can step onto the dance floor and have a good time!
Think Paint & Sip, Beer Yoga, or Sip & Stretch but instead, it’s a boozy dance class where you learn the exact choreography from the most iconic TRL-era music videos.
I created this class because so many people have told me they’ve always wanted to take a dance class, but feel intimidated by a dance studio, being around more advanced level dancers, feeling judged, or don’t even know where to begin at all. While Buffalo has lots of great dance classes and social dance events, there hasn’t been a beginner-friendly, boozy dance class where you learn the exact choreography from iconic pop music videos and then dance it out until now.
Doors open at 7PM so you can grab a drink and settle in.
The dance experience begins at 8PM and flows like a party:
- A short high-energy dance session
- A cocktail break to hang and chill
- Another short dance session
- Then an open dance party & mingle with nonstop 90s & Y2K throwbacks
Come solo or bring your friends! This is about moving, laughing, and dancing like no one’s watching.
Y2K attire strongly encouraged
