For the opening night at Public Works, we welcome cosmic disco master - Shubostar. Shubostar is a defining voice in contemporary disco and electronic music, known for her cosmic, groove-driven sound and sharp musical perspective. Her global footprint includes appearances at Panorama Bar, Circoloco, Mayan Warrior, Burning Man, Fusion, and Kappa Futur, alongside collaborations with artists such as Solomun, WhoMadeWho, and Mochakk. She has delivered standout mixes for platforms including HÖR, Mixmag, and Rinse FM. As the head of uju Records, she maintains a strong balance between artistic independence and collaborative output, continuing to push her sound forward with clarity and intent. Support comes from Jason Peters, the founder of Roam Recordings with his signature blend of italo, acid, and indie influences. He is joined by DJ PlayStation, the italo-focused selector and curator behind Now That’s What I Call Italo Disco, and Sirens resident Nicoshi, whose genre-fluid and hypnotic sets have taken him from intimate club rooms to the playa at Burning Man.
