**Earth Libraries Showcase feat. Will Stewart, Baby Wave, One Wheel Fireworks Show, Belt**
This Event is General Admission - Standing Room Only
Doors open at 7pm
Event starts at 8pm
**Belt:** Belt is an indie rock band from Nashville, TN. Belt writes songs for the goofy and the melancholy with an emphasis on countermelodies via keys and synthesizers. Led by songwriter Tommy Creighton, Belt draws inspiration from many 90’s rock bands such as, Pavement, Grandaddy, and Sparklehorse.
**One Wheel Fireworks Show:** Jason, eternal is One Wheel Fireworks Show's first foray into louder, darker material, exploring the fickle flow of time, mortality and what it means to get up in the morning and face another day. The record was assembled "hog dash" style at Colin Miller's Haw Creek home, with Cole and Miller, plugging in and letting loose, embracing chaos and textures inspired by the drawings of the late visual artist, Jason Polan, known for playfully capturing the smallest slices of life that surrounded him in the hustle and bustle of New York City. The record is a dreamscape, chronicling Southern Gothic superstitions, tender nothings, and a resolve to keep trying. It's a haunted diary of a long time when it seemed like no time was passing. One where dark thoughts and anxieties share the page with bored schoolhouse doodles scrawled in the margins. It's a late-night walk through the back of your mind, when you're just tired enough to let your thoughts wander where they shouldn't, and your dreams are just close enough to keep teasing you forward.
**Baby Wave:** Baby Wave is a Nashville-based indie rock trio blending slacker-rock grit with a tender, nostalgic core. Formed out of long-running friendships and late-night demos, the band drifts between shimmering folk instincts and fuzz-laced guitar punch—always anchored by vivid storytelling and an emotional undercurrent that feels both familiar and unmistakably their own.
**Will Stewart:** As one of the brightest and most prolific new songwriters to emerge from the Birmingham music scene over the past few years, Will Stewart has made a name for himself as both an imaginative storyteller and six string gunslinger whose detailed accounts of life around the Deep South seem to capture the essence of not just the humid, kudzu-covered environs they come out of, but also the creative cultural milieu that makes such narratives possible in the first place. Taking cues from everyone from Big Star and R.E.M., to Phosphorescent and the Drive-By Truckers, and even classic Southern literary figures like Eudora Welty and Barry Hannah, Stewart has managed to carve out a place for himself as a conjurer of time, place and characters— and the stories that swirl around them— in a way that’s simultaneously reflective, empathetic and unapologetic in their presentation.
