ABOUT 10 FT. GANJA PLANT
10 FT. GANJA PLANT is a Dub and Roots Reggae group primarily based in the Northeast of America that is a spinoff collective of the popular group John Brown's Body, and is spearheaded by former JBB dub engineer Craig Welsch. Their shows are rare and like their albums are known for capturing the 70's Jamaican raw analog sound and spirit.
They have released 10 classic albums on Roir records from early 2000 and accumulated over 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a global fanbase. They have over 4,000 followers on Instagram and over 22,000 followers on Facebook and 5,800 subscribers on their You Tube channel.
Their albums are Hillside Airstrip (2001), Midnight Landing (2003), Bass Chalice (2005), Presents (2007), Bush Rock (2009), Essential 10 Ft. Ganja Plant (2009), 10 Deadly Shots Vol 1 (2020), Shake Up The Place (2011), Skycatcher (2013) and 10 Deadly Shots Vol 111 (2014).
Ganja Plant recently completed a 25 year anniversary tour with legendary reggae engineer Scientist from Jamaica with electrifying live performances on which they headlined The Green Mountain Reggae Festival in Vermont. This tour helped to cement their reputation as one of Reggae's most respected underground roots forces. Ganja Plant continues to blend tradition and innovation with deep roots heavy vibes while honoring Jamaica's originators.
