**Paul Cauthen Solo Piano Set Live at Eddie's Attic w/ special guest Uncle B!**
Paul Cauthen is a true force of nature. His ability to captivate audiences with his soulful sound and larger-than-life personality has become lore amongst those that have witnessed it. Also doesn’t hurt to have a generational set of pipes to top it all off.
Hailing from East Texas, Cauthen embodies the spirit of the Lone Star State, earning a reputation for doing things his own way. Born into a family of preachers, Cauthen’s upbringing heavily influences his deep-rooted connection to music. With a voice that resonates with raw emotion, he aims to transport listeners, inviting them on a journey through love, heartbreak, and the pursuit of personal freedom. Cauthen has continued to explore new sonic territory fearlessly, while unapologetically defying expectations and creating music that resists categorization.

***Uncle B***
Modern American music man, Uncle B (formerly operating, unwittingly, under his government name, Bryan Simpson), is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country, and indie eclecticism—carried with a playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection reminiscent of heroes like John Hartford, Tom T. Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and Bob Dylan.
His songs have drawn praise from all corners: The Huffington Post noted his “original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work of David Byrne and Jim James,” while SeattlePI wrote that his music echoes “David Bowie and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements—the quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.”
His genre-spanning career has included recording alongside luminaries as diverse as Dan Auerbach, Ricky Skaggs, and Mumford & Sons.
Since leaving his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, with little more than a fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and a box fan, he has gone on to have songs recorded by standout artists including Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and Stephen Wilson Jr.—with several reaching No. 1 on the Billboard and Music Row charts.
He is also a recipient of NSAI’s prestigious “10 Songs I Wish I’d Written” honor, and his catalog has surpassed 500 million streams.
In 2024, he released his first record under his own name, The Oldest.
Now stepping fully into the moniker Uncle B, he is set to release his sophomore album, Life Is Hard, in summer 2026, featuring the lead single “Punk Rock Show.”
His solo work leans into a kaleidoscopic view of the world—pairing sharp songwriting with poignant, provocative production.
Beyond the studio, Uncle B is also the creator and host of Uncle B’s Damned Ole Opry—a high-wire, genre-bending variety show that blends top-tier musicianship, humor, and one-night-only collaborations into what’s become one of the country’s most talked-about live experiences
Presented by Eddie's Attic.
This is an all ages event.
