Description
**KAMAUU** is an LA- and Maryland-based artist, poet, and sonic visionary whose work exists at the intersection of spirit and sound. Blending hip-hop, soul, and ancestral rhythm, he creates music that feels both intimate and transcendent—a call to higher self and community.
KAMAUU reimagines what an artist meet-and-greet might be and instead is offering a special sound bath which serves to be a brief moment of calm and intention as we communally explore sound, breath, thoughts, and the spaces between. It will feature the vocal layerings of KAMAUU via live loop pedal sound building, live vocal improvisation, and relaxed communal discussion.
Join us and bring your own water, yoga mat or small rug to lay, pillow to sit on.
Early Access ticket price includes entry to the both the sound bath and the show.
Schedule for the sound bath ticket holders: Doors: 5:30 PM / sound bath starts 6 PM / sound bath ends 7 PM. Afterward, you may remain in the venue for KAMAUU’s show.
NOTE: If you have a history of stroke or any underlying medical conditions that may be triggered as a result of exposure to sound and/or vibration please consult a doctor/physician before purchasing a ticket. Neither KAMAUU nor Public Records are responsible or liable for any triggered medical conditions throughout or after the duration of the event. If you have any medical conditions with which sound/vibrations have the potential to trigger strokes, seizure, or any other dangerous reactions. Please consult your doctor. This is a sound event.
