About Aterciopelados
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music
Aterciopelados is the most emblematic band of Colombian rock and one of the leading figures in alternative rock in Latin America. For over 30 years, Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago (Conector) have created a musical universe that blends the power of rock with Latin American rhythms, Andean sounds, electronic beats, and lyrics that sing of love, the land, and conscious rebellion.
With four Latin Grammys—including the most recent for El Dorado en Vivo (2024), a powerful reinterpretation of their classic 1995 album—12 studio albums, tours in more than 20 countries, and songs that have defined generations, such as El Álbum, Florecita Rockera, Baracunatana, El Estuche, and Rompecabezas, their music is a journey between the ancestral and the futuristic, the intimate and the political.
Their latest album, Genes Rebeldes (Rebel Genes), is a sonic manifesto of thirteen unusual and untamed songs that celebrate identity, resistance, and transformation.
They are currently touring Latin America, the United States, and Europe, sharing their artistic and activist energy with audiences of all ages.
