Description
Redux is taking over Podlasie for our very first party in town! We are beyond excited to bring the radio ethos of musical presentation into the material plane and onto the dancefloor. Expect bright and colorful dancing sounds from a broad spectrum of musical worlds, lovingly selected by a lineup of friends and inspirations.

Opening up the night we’ve got Zagc, part of our Chicago Redux family. Also it will be his birthday so please come early and bring cake.
Next up is Grand Rapids duo s+k. Their show ‘plusplus’ on Redux is the inspiration for this night — they have a special way of folding disparate sounds together into a voice that’s as intuitive as it is unique. Perhaps this can be partially attributed to their broad backgrounds as musicians, with wonderful releases spanning alt-pop and avant-electronic, learning the ropes of emotive audio and abandonment of the grid. But the magic that unifies their sound stems from somewhere deeper… a personal dialect of love, spoken through the speakers… an ever-unfolding quest to capture feeling at its purest spark… a tenderly constructed wisdom of joy, play, the rhythm of the universe…
Leading our bill is Midwest legend John Beltran. An essential figure across many corners of dance music’s evolution over the past 30+ years, he is a master of the analog and the digital, the organic and the quantized, the heart and the dancing feet. Known for his genre-transcendant works, including influential early album "Ten Days of Blue" and more recent projects under his Placid Angles alias, he samples from a broad and vibrant palette of trans-national musical ideas to shape his distinct sound. He’s a true virtuoso of emotive dance music, and a favorite of ours here at Redux.
Local hardware heroes easygoingtech close us out. Pulling bits from across the rich histories of synthesized music and blasting them into the future at high velocity, they are at the forefront of the new dance sound of Chicago’s underground. We at Redux are big fans of them and their work in our city, and we’re excited about placing them in the context of this lineup. Music for jumping and smiling and crying and laughing.
See you thereeee
