Multi-award winning Los Angeles-based saxophonist, composer, producer, photographer, and cinematographer Stratøs opens up a cosmic new year with the very first live taping of his electronic chamber jazz experiment. In preparation for the release of his latest compositional ambition entitled Challenger Deep, he's assembled a few gems integral to the core of the Los Angeles music scene to premiere selected pieces from the yet-released project. Stratøs is a three-time winner of the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award from 2019-2021. Additionally, he was awarded the ASCAP Foundation’s Johnny Mandel Prize as well as being selected as a National Sawdust New Works Commission Contest winner.
