Broken Hill bio Broken Hill is a Southern California-based DJ, producer, and audio engineer known for his intricate rhythms, lush melodies, and syncopated basslines. The man behind the moniker, Kurtis McNevin, is passionate about pushing the boundaries of electronic music. Exposed to dance music at an early age by his father—a dedicated dance music enthusiast—Broken Hill quickly developed a deep appreciation for the craft. This early inspiration set him on the path to becoming a producer and sound engineer.
