About Infected Rain
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
Formed in 2008, INFECTED RAIN has become a prominent name in the metal scene, especially known for their unique blend of different genres of music. Their music resonates with a wide audience, thanks in large part to the charismatic and versatile vocals of frontwoman Elena Cataraga, a.k.a. Lena Scissorhands. The band’s line-up includes the guitarist Vadim ‘Vidick’ Ojog, who is also a principal songwriter, alongside drummer Eugene Voluta and bassist Alice Lane, who joined the band more recently.
The Moldovan quartet has shown a steady ascent in the music world since their debut album “Asylum” was released in 2011. They have since continued to evolve, both in sound and in their approach to music.
Their latest album, “TIME”, released on February 9, 2024, marks their sixth studio album and showcases their ability to experiment with a variety of sounds and themes, further cementing their status in the modern metal landscape. INFECTED RAIN is admired not only for their compelling music but also for the genuine emotion and passion that they infuse into their work. Each album, including “TIME”, is a journey through an array of intense emotions, complex musical layers, and thematic explorations that reflect both personal and universal experiences.
About Stitched Up Heart
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
"Listen to the lyrics, they're going to make you feel something... " - Mixi
That something is the essence of Stitched Up Heart- a band built around the strength that comes from realizing we are the only ones that control our lives, and focused on the hope that reminds us there is always light at the end of the darkest tunnel. It's something heavy and powerful, and it is something undeniable - Mixi's voice taking flight amidst anthems of self-awareness that bridge the unrelenting confidence of In This Moments's Maria Brink and the soulful transcendence of Adele.
"When I formed this band I was depressed and going through heartbreak. The name is supposed to give people strength and courage," professes the frontwoman in a warm and certain tone. "We all go through things that make us think we can't go further but, especially when times are bad, I want people to see that time will pass and it will get better. The hopeful lyrics on this record are on purpose - I've been living in the dark for too long, it's time to come into the light. You need to pick yourself up because nobody is going to do that for you. There are some sick people out there, but there is beauty in everyone - and you need to love yourself before you can stitch that heart back up."
