Known for her countless viral videos such as “Every Taylor Swift Song” (100M views and counting), this new show is the follow-up to “Tiger Daughter: Or, How I Brought My Immigrant Mother Ultimate Shame.” That show played to sold-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and will soon be filmed as her first comedy special. While Tiger Daughter was a vulnerable story about Charlene’s relationship with her Chinese Tiger Mother, this new show is a madcap musical revue about being a menace to society as a queer Asian guitar shredder. From her previous life as a folk singer-songwriter, to shredding guitar in Darren Criss’ internet sensation Team StarKid, to that time she started an epic feud with a restaurant by giving them a one-star review, to starting endless gender flipped cover bands like Guns N’ Hoses and Labiahead (her all-female Guns N’ Roses and Radiohead cover bands, respectively).
