Er begann seine DJ-Laufbahn Anfang der 90er Jahre in Paris und kuratiert seit 1997 die immer noch laufende Clubreihe Bass Culture im Rex Club. Seine Veröffentlichungen erschienen auf Labels wie Circus Company, Ovum, Rekids und seinem eigenen Imprint Bass Culture. Musikalisch verbindet er House und Techno mit Dub-Elementen und einer ausgeprägten Groove-Orientierung. Bella Boo is a Swedish DJ/producer who has steadily been building her career since the late 10s. Her close collaboration with Studio Barnhus led to her debut album Once Upon a Passion in 2019, which received four Swedish Grammy nominations along with wide press acclaim. Following releases on Running Back and Public Possession, her second album, Dreamy Spacey Blue, was released two years ago and was also nominated for a Grammy. For this edition of Klubnacht, scaled back as usual after our New Year's celebrations, Bella Boo is playing at Panorama Ba alongside fellow artists like Roman Flügel and Sedef Adasi. Also joining is D'Julz, one of the defining figures of the French house scene, is also joining. After starting out DJing in Paris in the early 90s, in 1997 he went on to curate the ongoing Bass Culture club series at Rex Club. Bass Culture is also the name of his record label, and he has also released music on the likes of Circus Company, Ovum and Rekids. Musically, he combines house and techno with dub elements and a distinct groove-oriented approach.
