‘50 First Jokes’ is a show that was co-created by John F. O’Donnell in Brooklyn in 2006 and now takes place in 20 cities nationwide.
If you’re not familiar with the concept, 50-ish comedians are all booked on one big show where they’ll go up in rapid fire order and each take up to 90 seconds to tell the 1st new joke they’ve written for the New Year. The comedians will go up on stage in 2 or 3 groups. The show is meant to be a fun gathering that aims to celebrate the comedy community, the talent of being funny, and the skill of good writing.
Rules comedians must abide by:
1. Tell a brand new joke you've written in 2026.
2. Stick to the time of 90 seconds or less.
3. Don't punch down.
If comedy isn’t enough for you, there will be music too: DaDadoh & the P.O.C. will be performing a short set in between one of the groups of comedians then closing out the show with a longer set.
About the musician:
DaDadoh (aka Bryan Preston) is a dynamic force in the entertainment industry whose magnetic stage presence commands attention from the moment he steps into the spotlight. As the driving force behind DaDadoh + the P.O.C. and as a member of Spicy Mayo, he brings an infectious energy that transforms every performance into an unforgettable experience.
A versatile artist known for his distinctive style and natural charisma, DaDadoh seamlessly blends his talents as a songwriter, musician, rapper, and vocalist with his sharp business acumen as a music producer and A&R representative. Whether crafting beats in the studio, commanding the microphone, or developing emerging talent through TVLiFE Entertainment—the company he founded—DaDadoh brings the same passion and professionalism that have made him a sought-after collaborator who elevates every project he touches.
ALL PROFIT from tickets will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
