w/ Caragold & The Eldest Young
Silvertongue:Originally formed in Massachusetts by frontman Andrew Stevens and guitarist Jake Hogan, Silvertongue made the move to Portland, Oregon, where they met keyboardist Mel Boell and drummer Joe-Henry McQuary.
Known for their high-energy, dynamic performances and infectious charisma, Silvertongue has earned a devoted following in the Pacific Northwest music scene and beyond. With a sound that began with folk influences, the band has since expanded to incorporate elements of pop and dance, creating a diverse catalog of adventurous, “Garden Indie” songs that blend the organic with the electrifying.
Silvertongue performs across the country, playing shows and festivals coast to coast. They’ve shared the stage with artists such as Almost Monday, Krooked Kings, and Wild Party, continuing to grow their national presence with every performance.
In 2025, the band released their highly anticipated third studio album, “Fossils”, recorded at Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland, OR. The album was engineered and mixed by Zach Bloomstein (Modest Mouse, Portugal. The Man), promising to deliver their signature blend of vibrant energy and captivating storytelling.
Caragold:
Caragold started in a cabin overlooking Mt. Adams, where lead singer, Ross Charland, would retreat to the wilderness to write. Countless trips to the mountains eventually laid the foundation for the band’s eponymous debut album, released in 2022. The album was largely inspired by Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Talking Heads, weaving together elements of pop, disco and psych rock. Several songs from the album received airplay from numerous radio stations, including KINK and KEXP.
With the addition of Jason Taylor (Vany Hans, Fourth Wall) on lead guitar and Matt Andrews (Jed Parsons) on drums, the new roster offers a fresh interpretation of the band’s catalog. Drawing inspiration from Sam Evian, Chris Cohen and Geese, Caragold’s new sound cloaks classic pop structure with unique chord changes, distorted guitars and jangly rhythms. The band is actively working on their next album, set to release later in 2026.
The Eldest Young:
The Eldest Young is a group of six friends who get together once a week to eat pizza and write songs for their friends and community to listen to—and maybe even dance to. Their shows often raise money for local nonprofits and people who need it most, turning music into a way to give back. The band has released four full-length studio albums, including their latest, GREATEST HITS, which came out in November.
