Description
Sec Anders is an indie soul artist and keyboardist based in Washington, DC, whose sound blends groove-driven funk, reflective lyricism, and experimental production. Drawing inspiration from artists like Childish Gambino, Toro y Moi, and Sly & the Family Stone, Sec fuses soulful melodies with textured beats to create music that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
What began as a hobby—experimenting with Logic Pro and crafting beats in his bedroom—evolved into a full creative pursuit as he began writing, producing, and performing his own songs. His lyrics explore love, self-reflection, and the everyday stories that shape personal growth, all delivered with an honesty that connects deeply with listeners.
As a skilled keyboardist, Sec brings a rich, organic energy to his music, using live instrumentation to bridge the gap between digital production and soulful performance. Recently, he’s expanded his sound by teaming up with a band of local DC musicians, creating a more dynamic, collaborative live experience. Together, they’re developing a sound that highlights both his roots in bedroom production and his evolution as a live performer—soulful, experimental, and unmistakably authentic.

Livin Dead
A project born out of a need to control every aspect of production. After years of learning multiple instruments in addition to both live and studio engineering in the DMV area; Livin Dead is an amalgamation of all the fascists that move me. Originally started as a self named artist a decision was made to separate the art from an artist thus was born a new path.
What once felt dead, livin anew.
