**Pique-nique & Jaid Records** present an evening of *ambient in movement*, evolving from stillness to motion through multidisciplinary artists shaping the edges between improvisation, performance and club culture.
Fresh off her Five Prayers EU tour, **Joy Guidry** appears for the first time with movement-based artist **Dorchel Haqq**. Joy’s bassoon and ambient electronics meet Haqq’s movement practice for an improvisational collaboration between sound and motion.
**YATTA** is a Sierra Leonean-American artist and composer whose work spans experimental music, performance, installation, sculpture and sound art. Blending textural electronic elements, looped vocals, and rich storytelling, they are currently presenting their solo exhibition *IRON + PALM WINE* at Art Omi.
As the room shifts toward the dancefloor, DJs SCRAAATCH and chelsea carry the night forward. Working together as **SCRAAATCH**, artists E. Jane and chukwumaa draw from their multimedia practice to craft hybrid sets that stretch between installation and nightlife as seen in their first solo exhibition at Company Gallery, Distortion Play. Brooklyn-based DJ and sound artist **chelsea**, co-founder of the experimental series chonk parties, closes the night with her selection rooted in future-looking music from the diaspora.
*The event will be held in a private loft in Greenpoint featuring a vintage 4-point Klipsch sound system.*
Presented by Pique-nique Recordings & Jaid Records
