Getdown Services are Josh Law and Ben Sadler, childhood friends from Minehead, Somerset, now based in Bristol. Together they make sharp, groove-driven music that mixes post-punk, funk and social commentary with dry humour and astute observations of everyday life. Their debut album Crisps (Breakfast Records, 2023) introduced a sound rooted in rhythm, wit and working-class surrealism. Songs about modern Britain were set to arrangements that reflected both their humour and frustration. The album drew praise for its originality and set the tone for everything that has since followed Presented by Transmit Presents. This is an 19+ event
