Miami's own Yung Miami returns home to take over LIV Nightclub on Sunday, February 15, 2026 for a LIV on Sunday celebration at the legendary Fontainebleau Miami Beach. One half of the groundbreaking duo City Girls and now a solo force in hip-hop, Yung Miami brings the energy, the anthems, and the unapologetic Miami attitude that made her a star.
From "Act Up" to her hit podcast Caresha Please, Yung Miami has proven she's much more than a rapper—she's a cultural phenomenon. This is Sunday night in Miami done right.
About Yung Miami
Caresha Romeka Brownlee, known professionally as Yung Miami, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and media personality born on February 11, 1994 in Miami, Florida. Raised in Opa-locka, Yung Miami is a true product of the 305 and has become one of the most recognizable voices in modern hip-hop.
Yung Miami's journey began performing in strip clubs, nightclubs, and block parties throughout Miami before connecting with fellow rapper JT (Jatavia Shakara Johnson) to form the hip-hop duo City Girls in 2017. The duo recorded their debut track "Fuck Dat Nigga"—a diss track toward ex-boyfriends—at a cousin's warehouse, with Yung Miami promoting it by paying DJs $20 to spin it in clubs. The track went viral and caught the attention of Quality Control Music, who signed them shortly after.
City Girls exploded into mainstream recognition in July 2018 with an uncredited feature on Drake's chart-topping single "In My Feelings," with Yung Miami appearing in the iconic music video that spawned the viral #InMyFeelingsChallenge. That same year, they released their debut mixtape Period and debut studio album Girl Code, which featured the platinum-certified anthems "Act Up" and "Twerk" (featuring Cardi B). "Act Up" peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a certified cultural moment, with the iconic line "Act up, you can get snatched up" becoming a viral catchphrase.
The duo released their sophomore album City on Lock in 2020, featuring collaborations with Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Lil Durk, and Yo Gotti. Their third studio album RAW arrived in October 2023. Throughout City Girls' run, they collaborated with major artists including Usher on "Good Love," DJ Khaled and Latto, and Fivio Foreign. Miami rapper Trina—Yung Miami's godmother—served as a mentor to the duo during their rise.
In 2021, Yung Miami launched her solo career with the single "Rap Freaks," which debuted at #81 on the Billboard Hot 100—her first chart entry as a solo artist. The sex-positive track references various rappers and showcased her ability to command attention on her own. She appeared on the remix of Lola Brooke's "Don't Play With It" alongside Latto, which peaked at #69 on the Hot 100. Her solo singles "50/50" and "CFWM" featuring Skilla Baby continued building momentum for her independent chapter.
Beyond music, Yung Miami launched Caresha Please, a popular interview podcast on Revolt TV where she's hosted conversations with hip-hop's biggest names including Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross, Flo Milli, Summer Walker, and Mariah The Scientist. The show has expanded into a lifestyle brand with apparel and accessories. She has also appeared as an actress in the Netflix film You People (2023) alongside Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, and Bad Boys for Life (2020).
