Adrian Sherwood ‘Live Dub Sessions’ Tour * First ever North American tour - March/ April ‘26 *
Adrian Sherwood Tribute Night: Free Community Event
While Adrian Sherwood’s headline performance has been rescheduled, the night at The Great Northern will still take place as planned — and we’ll be opening the doors for a free community gathering celebrating the sound and legacy of Adrian Sherwood and the On-U Sound universe.
A true pioneer of dub, Sherwood’s production work and sonic experimentation have shaped generations of artists across reggae, post-punk, electronic music, and soundsystem culture. This evening will pay tribute to that spirit — from deep dub explorations to bass-heavy rhythms and echo-drenched textures.
The night will feature Robert Rankin’, Spliff Skankin, DJ Sep, and Mike Bee, bringing selections and sounds inspired by Sherwood’s expansive musical world and the boundary-pushing ethos of On-U Sound.
Join us for a special free RSVP session dedicated to the music, the community, and the timeless influence of dub on the dancefloor.

About Adrian Sherwood:
As founder of the legendary On-U Sound label, he formed and produced a stable of artists such as African Head Charge, New Age Steppers, Dub Syndicate, Creation Rebel and Tackhead, and also produced or remixed everyone from The Slits to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode to The Fall and Blur to Einstürzende Neubauten. In addition to recent work with indie artists such as Spoon and Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, who both separately hand-picked Sherwood to reconstruct recent studio albums, he has also enjoyed recent success producing late career renaissances on his own On-U label - Rainford by Lee “Scratch” Perry hit number 1 on the Billboard Reggae chart, whilst Midnight Rocker by Horace Andy was crowned The Guardian’s #1 Global album of the year.
