Sassy 009 is the intriguing solo project of Norwegian producer and singer-songwriter Sunniva Lindgård. Originally started as a three-piece band, Sassy 009 broke through in 2017 with the EP ‘Do You Mind?’, in which layers of noise wrapped themselves around reed-like harmonies and faltering productions. With ‘KILL SASSY 009’ (2019), Lindgård took a clear step forward as a solo artist. Now she is heralding a new chapter with her debut album ‘Dreamer +’, which will be released in January. The first single, ‘Butterflies’, gives a preview: vulnerable, dreamy and full of tension. In her music, the boundaries between electro-pop, experimental rhythms and intimate vocals blur.
