This year, the Super-Sonic Jazz Festival will take place from Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16, at Paradiso. The festival focuses on innovative artists who operate within the broad universe of jazz. Since its first edition in 2017, the festival has grown into a leading platform for artists who operate at the intersection of jazz, R&B, soul, hip hop, and more. Big names such as Thundercat, Kokoroko, Robert Glasper, Steve Lacy, Domi & JD Beck, Yussef Dayes, Moses Sumney, and Hiatus Kaiyote have graced the bill since then, most of them before their international breakthrough. In addition to the annual festival, Super-Sonic Jazz organizes various activities throughout the year: from intimate concerts in collaboration with Paradiso to the monthly Super-Sonic Jams at Skatecafe. Music is also released via the independent Super-Sonic label. Fans can join the Super-Sonic Movement.
