Description
Cult horror metal band The Animal Warfare Act will celebrate the release of their newest single, "Prisoners" with their most ambitious live performance to date. Known for over-the-top stage theatrics to accompany their blistering music, the band will transform Toronto's Baby G into a horrorscape wedding venue. Will you be there to crash the wedding?
Also performing at the reception are power-pop/rock act Lovekink, and experimental pop/shoegaze project Coworker, making their performance debut.
The Animal Warfare Act is a metal trio formed by brothers Hopskotch (vocals, guitar) and Corndog (drums) in Whitehorse, Yukon in 2018. Now based in Toronto and joined by Catscratch (bass), the band's sound encompasses styles like nu metal, metalcore, and hardcore, combined with theatrical live shows and horror-based imagery.
Lovekink is the brainchild of vocalsit-guitarist Ivan Stille, featuring an eclectic lineup complete with dual guitars and synths. A power pop/rock act with meticulously crafted songs and energetic live shows, Lovekink tore onto the Toronto scene with debut single "He Left Me" in the summer of 2025.
Coworker is an enigmatic one-man project by Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist Shawn Campbell. With a unique blend of experimental pop, drone, shoegaze and R&B, his music can be scary, funny and pretty, sometimes all at once.
Presented by The Baby G.
