Rock out with your cock out! Xiaolin ist DJ, Produzentin, Vinylsammlerin und ehemalige Konzertviolinistin aus Hongkong. Nach dem Studium der klassischen Violine, des Jazz und der elektronischen Komposition sowie zwei Jahren in London entwickelte sie eine tiefe Verbindung zur britischen Underground-Kultur. Beeinflusst von Sounds der 80er bis 00er, Videospielen, Anime, Film, Natur und ihren kantonesischen Wurzeln reicht ihr Stil von Acid House und Breaks bis zu schimmerndem Techno und Downtempo. Nach ihrem Live-Gig zur 9-Jahres-Party von Sound Metaphors spielt Xiaolin heute ihr erstes DJ-Set bei uns. Seven years after his last live performance at the Dekmantel Festival in 2018, Phase Fatale will make his Berghain live debut tonight – and if his Instagram post is to be believed, it could mean a return to the guitar. Rock out with your cock out! Xiaolin is a DJ/producer, vinyl collector and former concert violinist from Hong Kong. After studying classical violin, jazz and electronic composition and spending two years in London, she developed a deep connection to British underground culture. Influenced by sounds from the 80s to the 00s, video games, anime, film, nature and her Cantonese roots, her style ranges from acid house and breaks to shimmering techno and downtempo. After her live gig at Sound Metaphors' ninth anniversary party, Xiaolin is playing her first DJ set with us tonight.
