“When I'm playing, I operate in a way like an audio visualiser, translating the sounds I hear in my head into something to relate to what the dance floor is hearing or feeling. I want to hear what people are hearing, so the preparation on the dance floor is essential… I don't have a fixed playing style, but I get inspiration for what to play from feeling the people there or the atmosphere of the space.
