For this special concert edition of Burst City, they gather for an intimate and intense evening in celebration of the release of the debut EP Archetype. This EP is put together by the new live act Primal Baby, featuring Mila V and Parrish Smith, accompanied by Kay Alvarado on synth and guitar. Primal Baby is the new collaboration between Mila V and Parrish Smith. What began as a chance encounter grew into an intense musical bond. Together they move through the dark mists of post-punk, goth rock, and industrial metal, drawing influence from Skinny Puppy, Trent Reznor, and Chelsea Wolfe. Their music is heavy and raw, yet also meditative - an exercise in the art of darkness. Amid the looming threat, a spark of hope always glows: honest, uncompromising, and unmistakably personal. Mila V’s esoteric vocals and Parrish Smith’s signature production style merge into a sound that is both soft and hard, full of tension, energy, and the refined sensuality of the feminine. Kay Alvarado, the talented multi-instrumentalist who gained recognition from a young age and happens to be Mila V’s nephew, brings three-dimensional depth to the stage as a live member.
