Elvis Birthday Celebration 2026
Start the new year with a rock ’n’ roll bang! The Gand Band ignites 2026 with a thrilling birthday tribute to the King of Rock ’n’ Roll — celebrating Elvis Presley with all the electrifying energy, style, and musical fire that made him a legend.
This is not your typical impersonator show. It’s a high-octane, soul-shaking concert experience that channels the spirit, charisma, and showmanship of Elvis at his very best. Backed by the powerhouse sound of The Gand Band, you’ll feel the excitement of being swept into a live Elvis performance — from the raw rockabilly heat of the 1950s, to the “’68 Comeback Special” swagger, to the glitz, glamour, and big-band brilliance of his 1970s Vegas era.
What to Expect:
- A Journey Through All Eras of Elvis
From “Hound Dog” and “Heartbreak Hotel” to “Suspicious Minds” and the Vegas showstoppers — all the hits you love, delivered with authenticity and heart.
- High-Energy, High-Impact Performance
A dynamic, exhilarating show that leaves audiences buzzing, cheering, and wanting more.
- The Gand Band’s Signature Sound
Renowned for top-tier musicianship, The Gand Band delivers a rich, powerful, and polished musical backdrop that elevates the entire experience.
Get ready to sing, swoon, and shake, rattle & roll — this is the Elvis Birthday Celebration you’ll be talking about all year!
Winner of the CV Independent’s Best Local Band for FOUR years running, this dynamic husband and wife team bring their Chicago sound to the desert.
Veteran bluesman Gary Gand handles the six strings, driving the band, channeling a bit of Freddie King, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck rolled into one. Keyboardist Joan Gand grooves on classic Hammond B-3 style organ and blues piano with inspiration from Booker T, Ray Charles, and Otis Spann.
Throughout this series of monthly concerts, special guests will join the Gand Band including top notch performers from both Chicago and San Diego.
The Gand Band appears in the film,"My Name is Lopez" - a documentary about 60s celebrity vocalist/actor Trini Lopez. Trini was a frequent guest performer until his death in 2020.
