ABOV is a new FLINTA* collective led by the NYC couple DJ Volvox and Dominga (aka Follakzoid). FLINTA* is an umbrella term representing female, lesbian, inter*, non-binary/enby, trans*, and agender people. ABOV is a safe space created by FLINTA* for FLINTA*, for all the beauties that have ever been harassed, discriminated against or worse just for being themselves. We welcome NASTIA REIGEL to our dance floor the exclusive american release show of her new album “IDENTITY” on the Function runned Infrastructure New York record label. No stranger to NYC dancefloors, Nastia has earned the reverence of techno titans with her captivating dj sets and vinyl releases on esteemed labels such as Wsnwg, Token, and Enemy. Standing out boldly in a landscape of constant change, Nastia Reigel is offering a solid musical foundation and a unique artistic vision characterized by indomitable energy, magnetism, and pure elegance. Opening our MAIN ROOM for this event is Cotton who has recently returned from a breakout european tour. In the game for 13 years strong, the Brooklyn-born dj is known for her renegade parties, keeping the true ethos of the underground alive. Her deep broken beats are the perfect fit to set the mood for this sapphic extravaganza. VOLVOX and DOMINGA's near-telepathic intuitive connection has resulted in some of the most bracing techno sets today. Across the globe the name DJ Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business. Here she joins forces with Sacred Bones artist, model, filmmaker and and globally renowned trans icon, Dominga of the cult band Follakzoid who brings an otherworldly sense of improvisation and encyclopedic music knowledge that reveals the deepest gems from our collective unconscious. Their transportive sets at Whole Festival, Basement or RSO Berlin to name a few have set the stage for a new dimension in techno, one that continues to intrigue with its deep pulsating aliveness. VILE returns for her sophomore set, this time bringing the darkest sultry vibes to our Dark Room. Driven by an unstoppable passion for innovation, the Colombian-born DJ and producer crafts immersive audio experiences that captivate and provoke, skillfully blending intense rhythms with industrial textures and dark, compelling melodies. JOHANNA CONSTANTINE began DJing in NYC in the early 90’s. A visual chameleon and style icon, countless residencies and sets later she is still mutating. Co-founder the Blacklips Performance Cult and artistic partner to Anohni and the Johnsons, Johanna’s sets reach audiences from Fold London to LA’s Neotropolis festival, Dances of Vice and Synthicide. Expect darkness at the disco! For our epic closing we have enlisted NYC techno princesses KYRUH and KXAH for an extended b2b that will keep the hotties jumping into the morning light. KYRUH is no stranger to hard, gritty and high caliber techno. Her ascent from Bushwick bars to the Knockdown Center main stage has propelled her into the spotlight as one of the city's must-have bookings. KXAH's pulsating sound is a hypnotic blend of techno, electro, acid, noise, and EBM. Her bassline-driven sets are high on percussion and tension. Beyond the booth, KXAH is a community builder - her "Fight Club" events, hosted in a fighting gym, champions female creatives and fosters a community of talented, empowered females.
