Description
The first one’s already smoke. This is the next.
Nothing lasts. Not the bass, not the night, not you.
Ephemeral Objects: Memory 02 at Mood Ring.
For this fleeting moment, we bring:
Coido: Making his US debut, the Berlin-based producer has been turning heads under his relatively new alias with releases on forward-thinking labels like Exit, Yuku, Nerve Collect, and most recently Ingram (Rinse’s new bass imprint). Rooted in 2-step and techno, he deals only in the finest futuristic sound design and low-end sonics.
Doctor Jeep: If you haven’t seen Doctor Jeep lately, it’s because he’s been deep in a scorching summer tour across Europe, Asia, and Australia. He returns to the US fresh from a standout set at Waking Life, one that generational talent Djrum called “my favourite DJ set of the festival. It was super fun, but it still felt headsy enough too—some deep cuts, and technical execution.” Expect just that.
Joey: Complex textures with psychedelic rhythms on a bed of rich low-end is what the NYC-based producer and DJ is known for cooking up with his excellent releases on Kessler’s label Elicit Records.
No Sir: A creator of worlds in their DJ sets and production, No Sir has released on labels respected in the global underground, such as Woozy, 3024, Early Reflex, De la… je l’espère. They’ve been making waves in the New York scene with their intricate sound design and bass-heavy club wormholes.
Listen closely. Stay a while.
