SnarskiCircusLindyBand - Special Christmas Show
SnarskiCircusLindyBand (SCLB) brings together a formidable lineup of Australian musical talent, providing a collaboration around the songwriting partnership of Rob Snarski and Lindy Morrison. After four years with two well-received mini-albums, and extensive tours across Australia, SCLB is excited to release their highly anticipated debut full-length album, “what’s said and what’s left unsaid.”
The band features Rob Snarski, known for his distinctive vocals and work with The Blackeyed Susans, alongside drummer Lindy Morrison (The Go Betweens). They're joined by the iconic pedal steel player ‘Evil’ Graham Lee (The Triffids, The Blackeyed Susans), accomplished guitarist and producer Shane O'Mara (Rebecca's Empire, Silversound), and respected musician Dan Kelly on bass and vocal harmonies.
SCLB's sound blends indie pop rock with a strong emphasis on rich songwriting and nuanced instrumentation, creating truly engaging melodic songs.
Joining SCLB are the one and only Love Me, bringing their signature blend of haunting, country-tinged tunes and poignant lyrics to appreciative audiences once more. Active from 1994 to 2004, Love Me built a devoted fanbase and released four studio albums. Now, having reformed in 2024, Love Me is captivating crowds, and excitingly, a new album is currently in the works. The Vanguard performances will include three of the four original band members: Tom Kristensen on guitar and vocals, Madeleine King on bass, vocals and harmonica, and Baz Turnbull on guitar and vocals, plus Peter Timmerman on drums. Amanda Brown (The Go Betweens), who played on the first 2 Love Me albums and gigged with Love Me for a while, will join as a special guest. The spirit of the much loved and greatly missed Mandy Pearson - AKA Mandy the Magnificent - will guide them through a set of hits and faves both old and new.
