Description
Two years ago, BAUGRUPPE90 made their debut at the club for FIST. Now, they return to headline the party. The Berlin duo is fresh off the release of their “Laser Cut” EP on their freshly-minted MONTAGE label, and it’s one of the best entries in their growing discography. Full throttle rave power meets liquid textures and swung, rolling percussion, all deployed with the effortless craft that is the duo’s signature. KYRUH is an artist whose ethos is a perfect fit for FIST. Her raw and devious mixing hits with pure, unfettered determination. KYRUH takes techno seriously, wielding the genre like a sword. Residents Word of Command and DJ Clone complete the night with their b2b. There’s an apocalyptic fervor to their collaboration, a sense of looming darkness and the rush of the paranoid that makes their b2b essential listening.
x3butterfly headlines STUDIO. A key player in NY’s current era, x3butterfly’s fearlessness and fluency can be blinding. Whether playing a house-classics set, swerving through the heaviest dubstep or pushing the pedal to the metal for a huge rave, they always command the room. Berlin-based producer Anatole Serret makes his debut. An artist whose work moves between worlds, Serret has long-since established himself as a drummer in the breezy, beloved indie-funk band Parcels. But a series of head-turning EPs of driving, progressive-informed house kicked off a new chapter. His most recent transmission, “Fata Morgana," released on his own Hydrangea Records, showcases his fluid percussive sensibility and a straight-to-the-point soulfulness. S4M23 returns to the room, delivering a proper dose of midwest power. With jacking drums, searing acid licks and a tinge of menace, S4M23 spares no one.
