BITE NITE auf beiden Floors. Vor zwei Jahren hatten sich die Queer-Wave-Ikone Petra Flurr und der griechische Produzent Unhuman für ein gemeinsames Album auf dem Label von Phase Fatale zusammengetan. Auf Mala Vita vereinen sie Punk-Body-Music, hämmernde Beats, markante Hooks und psychedelische Atmosphären mit Flurrs effektvollem Gesang und Texten aus der Schattenwelt des Berliner Sex-Undergrounds. Anlässlich dieser Labelparty sie treten gemeinsam auf im Berghain – neben Kangding Ray, der mit dem Soundtrack zu dem französischen Film “Sirat” in diesem Jahr zurecht den Cannes Soundtrack Award gewonnen hat. Sein Score zu dem in der Wüste Marokkos spielenden halluzinatorischen Rave-Roadmovie ist das Beste, was man in letzter Zeit im Kino hören konnte. Ne/Re/A ist eine spanische DJ und Produzentin, die in New York lebt. In ihren Sets verschmilzt sie druckvollen Industrial-Techno mit Elementen aus Heavy Industrial, EBM und Electro. Als Resident-DJ prägt sie den Sound von MERGE, einem der zentralen Queer-Techno-Raves Brooklyns. Zudem kuratiert sie als Gründerin und Resident die alle zwei Monate stattfindende Partyreihe Distrikt1 im Bossa Nova Civic Club. Bite Nite on both floors. Two years ago, queer wave icon Petra Flurr and Greek producer Unhuman teamed up for a joint album on the Phase Fatale label: Mala Vita combines punk body music, pounding beats, striking hooks and psychedelic atmospheres with Flurr's FX-laden vocals and lyrics from the shadowy world of Berlin's underground sex life. On the occasion of this label night, they perform together – alongside Kangding Ray, who rightly won the Cannes Soundtrack Award this year for the French film Sirât. His score for the hallucinatory rave road movie set in the Moroccan desert is the best thing to be heard in cinema in recent times. Ne/Re/A is a Spanish DJ/producer based in New York. She is also the founder and resident DJ of the bi-monthly party series Distrikt1 at the Bossa Nova Civic Club.
