Sedef Adasi lädt zu einer weiteren HAMAM Nights Party in der Panorama Bar ein. “I Am Happy That Ií’m Not Susan Sontag" hieß der erste Track von Courtesys zweitem Album, das sie Ende des vergangenen Jahres auf ihrem damals neu gegründeten Label Against Interpretation veröffentlichte. Der tongue-in-cheek-Humor des Titels passt prima zu ihrer Arbeit als DJ, Komponistin, Performerin und bildende Künstlerin, deren unterschiedliche Aspekte sie in eine fließende Verbindung setzt. Ein Kind der queeren Londoner Nachtleben-Szene ist die britische DJ Hannah Holland. Neben ihrer dancefloorzentrierten Arbeit hat sie auch Scores für Filme von Bruce LaBruce veröffentlicht. Auch ihr letztes Album Last Exit on Bethnal ist der Soundtrack zu einem Arthouse-Film – eine “poetische, surreale Erkundung der Macht und Sexualität von Lesben, angesiedelt im mythischen Nachtleben”, wie Holland es beschreibt. Auf ihrem Plattenlabel Batty Bass veröffentlichte sie auch Tracks vom Londoner Underground-Queer-Icon Josh Caffé, der ebenfalls bei dieser Ausgabe der HAMAM Nights spielt.
