Description
The critically acclaimed “Guardians of Guaracha”, Rosa Pistola and Debit, have come home to emaciate and empower one of NYC’s most renowned dance floors. The genre, which originated in Pistola’s home nation of Colombia, fully maximizes any space it enters. Guaracha’s signature sporadic-yet-massive bass lines, tribal percussion, and peak-time rave BPM have found a vacation home at Myrtle/Broadway where industrial techno and reggaeton have thrived for some time. Debit, known historically as an acclaimed avant garde artist, filters the genre with a method prime for techno fanatics while Pistola slams it together with reggaeton, dembow and cumbia.
The rest of the cast, OZA, Sevyn Love and TYJAH, slant more towards Paragon’s traditional sounds: Eclectic techno and acid house, securing a broad spectrum of sweat.
