Main Bar - Free Event | 21+ Ambient Chess started as a brainchild of Tommy Paslaski of Purelink, later reprised by resident host Michael Perkinson (DJ Plight Jada) and Megha Bamola (DJing under the duo known as Kissparcht with Plight Jada). This free event provides a chance to engage in friendly play with chess boards/ additional distractions provided for people to enjoy as they immerse themselves in this weekday retreat. Ambient Chess comes from wanting to fill the hole in Chicago for electronic music that isn't surrounded around only dance and nightlife, it gets experimental, it gets trancey, it covers alot of ground musically.
