Funsho is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer known for his unique approach to melodies and his ability to seamlessly blend alternative R&B sounds with afro influences from his Nigerian heritage. His innovative and soulful music has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Funsho first gained widespread recognition on NBC's The Voice Season 15, where he advanced to the top 24 under the mentorship of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. His range, vocal ability, and tone have been praised by industry heavyweights such as Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Mariah Carey. In 2025, Funsho is set to release a series of singles, starting with his highly anticipated track "Dopamine," which will be accompanied by a captivating music video. The single has already earned a spot on Obama's Summer Playlist 2025 and is poised to make waves on popular playlists and radio across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Allison Balanc is a Washington, D.C.–based neo-soul singer-songwriter, producer, creative director, educator and entrepreneur whose music champions healing and authenticity. After winning Ne-Yo’s Talent Search in 2007, she signed with Grammy-winning label Compound Entertainment; in 2012, she also won the “Are You the Lipstick” Talent Search.
She has released two EPs—Change of Plans (2015) and Lost and Found (2017)—and her live debut at W Hotel DC’s POV Live became the highest-grossing show in the series, launching lasting partnership. A multi-time Washington Area Music Award nominee, including for Music Educator of the Year (2021), she’s performed at standout events like Anthony Hamilton’s Congressional Black Caucus book signing and the District Cup centennial.
Her creative ventures include Allison Balanc Productions—offering creative direction, vocal performances/features, voice coaching and songwriting as well as the all-female songwriting and publishing collective Driven Women Collective, launched in March 2022.
Allison amplifies underprivileged youth voices through teaching partnerships with Project Create DC, The Musicianship, and Jubilee Housing. During the pandemic, she released the #SocialDistanceBae series and the single “Friendzone” featuring Durand Bernarr, later included in Ghostface Killah’s Shotguns mixtape . Currently, she’s expanding into sync and soundtrack work— working with Alexandra Hampton Music and Viacom (now Paramount). She is in the process of creating a short film and soundtrack slated for release in 2025.
