**Andres Sosa Presents: Soda Stereo’s "Comfort y Música para Volar" live at Eddie's Attic!**
Soda Stereo was the beginning of a globalization movement that incorporated local musicians into a great continental rock movement. Almost 20 years after their celebrated “Me Verás Volver” farewell tour, it’s still considered a cornerstone of Latin American Rock and a big influence to countless artists. As part of the "MTV Unplugged” series they recorded a show in 1996 that front man Gustavo Cerati humorously dubbed “Replugged” as the band departed from the use of only acoustic instruments, using for most of the televised set conventional "plugged” instruments, and gave some of its songs a second life, proving they were much more than just commercial hits. An allusion to this paradox is in the fading "Un" prefix of the word "Unplugged" depicted in the album cover. On December 27, we will relive this iconic performance in its entirety, as part of the series “Suramerican Rockers."
