Hollywood Theatre Presents... Indie Night Wednesday, September 11th 2025 Doors: 7pm Show: 8pm 19+ Join us at Hollywood Theatre for a night of indie soul, alt-pop, and raw storytelling from three rising Canadian artists. Featuring the atmospheric alt-soul of Matt Storm, the high-energy hooks of Lincolnhotchen, and the heartfelt sound of Charis Tazumi. Whether you're a longtime local music supporter or discovering new favourites, this is a night to lean in and listen. Matt Storm Vancouver-based Matt Storm blends vintage soul and jazz with modern alt production. With over 5 million Spotify streams on his track “We Went Our Own Ways,” Storm has toured across Canada, the UK, and Europe, and recently released his third project Spilt, mixed by Grammy-winner Ben Kane. LincolnhotchenCalgary-born and now based in Vancouver, Lincolnhotchen leads a dynamic four-piece fusing bright pop melodies with gritty indie-rock textures. Their 2024 singles “Highlight” and “Pop‑up Headlights” earned national radio play and 102.7 THE PEAK’s Artist of the Month. Charis Tazumi Charis Tazumi is an emerging singer-songwriter based out of Victoria B.C, who shares her most heartfelt thoughts through wistful instrumentations and lyricism. She is inspired by a blend of folk, indie, alternative and RnB styles, all contributing to her grounded, unique and charming sound. For the past two years, Charis has performed across Vancouver Island and in Vancouver, connecting to listeners through her smooth vocals and intimate writing style. Her debut album "In Subtle Ways" came out in May 2024, receiving a heartwarming outpour of support from her local music community.
