DESCENDANTS is an international Afro & Culturally Inspired Electronic Music Events Platform based in New York where people come together for Afro House & Afro Tech. With events in Johannesburg, Nairobi, London, Amsterdam & beyond, DESCENDANTS has become an Afro House staple globally.
Line-Up: We’re welcoming Lisbon born, Cape Verdean Producer/DJ Lilocox bringing his signature rhythms for his New York debut, South Africa’s very own G-Wash10 also making his New York debut, our very own Meedy & Pizzi, & South African, DC based Mobu.
DESCENDANTS welcomes all to an expressive environment free of judgement. NO forms of harassment or discrimination will be tolerated.
Expressive, colorful dress is favored but not required.
**Dance Workshop: 9:30PM - 10:30PM \[Pay Upon Arrival.\]** This Workshop combines the styles of House Dance and Angolan Kuduro focused on grooves for the dancefloor and organic connection to music.
