The show features vocalists Angie Whitney, Kari Kirkland, and Kim Schroeder Long who will perform the classic, crowd-favorite hits made popular by icons like The Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas, and the Ronettes, plus solo artists who recorded iconic holiday songs. You’ll hear timeless hits such as Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, Santa Baby plus standards like Dancing In the Street, Shoop Shoop Song, and many other chart-toppers that defined an era. The show is guaranteed to get everyone in the holiday spirit, weaving classic Christmas songs and favorite hits into the girl-group sound. Backed by the Gand Band, winner of the CV Independent’s Best Local Band for FOUR years running, this dynamic husband and wife team bring their Chicago sound to the desert. Veteran bluesman Gary Gand handles the six strings, driving the band, channeling a bit of Freddie King, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck rolled into one. Keyboardist Joan Gand grooves on classic Hammond B-3 style organ and blues piano with inspiration from Booker T, Ray Charles, and Otis Spann.
