FETCH & SOPHIE NIGHT presents a special night celebrating the legacy of legendary producer SOPHIE. Joining the local DJs and performers will be PC Music's umru. On September 6th Saturday at R Lounge Shibuya, a collaborative event with FETCH and SOPHIE NIGHT is welcoming back the hyperpop pioneer umru hailing from NYC, who solidified his underground status at a young age when he collaborated on Charli XCX's album Pop 2. After his successful Tokyo event at FETCH last year, this year's event will be not only a great opportunity to revisit his energetic performance, but also a great way to tribute to a legendary producer SOPHIE with a grand queer-centric lineup as well. Also, this year marks FETCH's first collaboration event, with SOPHIE NIGHT, hailing from the LGBT district Shinjuku Nichome, which has been making groundbreaking efforts to uphold the legacy of SOPHIE, as well as promoting underground music inside Nichome. Joining the night will be from Tokyo's iconic hyperpop event Kyundesu's organizer N² as well as ViDA, established underground music platform GOODNIGHT's organizer migeru, as well as frequent collaborator skydoki, multidisciplinary artist and DJ Luna Woelle, and also DJ unit Divine Oracle's Yurushite Nyan and in the pool.
