Description
Presented by V-Day in association with the American Repertory Theater, DEAR EVERYTHING is a musical uprising for the Earth. A riveting story driven by galvanizing and emotional pop and folk music, it speaks to the dialectic of our times—adults focused on surviving the now, and youth with a fierce eye on the future. The cast of eleven actors/singers - backed by a dynamic youth choir (the Los Angeles Children's Choir) - address the most pressing issue of our day—the climate crisis with empathy, complexity and outrage. DEAR EVERYTHING was born through the collective synergy of Tony and Obie Award-winning playwright V (formerly Eve Ensler), the Tony and Obie award winning/ Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater, Diane Paulus, Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter, Caroline Pennell, Eren Cannata, and Daniel Crean, with contributions by Tony and Obie Award winner, Idina Menzel. “At a time when our planet is burning from the impact of global warming and human-made climate catastrophe, Dear Everything is a powerful musical uprising driven by the visionary voices of youth, gorgeous pop and anthemic music, and great storytelling urging us to come together to protect our earth and our future.” - Jane Fonda
