Deerest Friends: Deerest Friends is a collective of Chicago youth artists creating wonderfully intimate DIY music. The band is Francis Brazas (vocals, guitar, horn, accordion), Will Huffman (vocals, drum, guitar bass), Nathan McMurray (vocal, guitar, bass), Xochimilco Cortez (viola, vocals) and Desi Kaercher (drums, keyboard). The band is very much an amalgamation of the lo-fi Chicago music scene, bringing artists from Post Office Winter, Dwaal Troupe and Welcome to Berlin together to create music inspired by Kitchen, Waveform, The Microphones and Elephant 6. Post Office Winter: Post Office Winter is a Chicago-based DIY duo featuring songwriters Charlie Johnston and Will Huffman. The band seamlessly weaves lo-fi aesthetics, field recordings, and pop melodies into something truly special.
