Description
Join us in The Nursery for a sound bath and deep, ambient listening experience aimed to bring you into your body, soothe your nervous system, and gently guide you into a state of organic meditation. Secular Sabbath is the LA-based meditation practice and community, and on 8.9, they're coming to The Nursery for a sensory experience that drops you into the parasympathetic state of deep rest.
Each Secular Sabbath experience is centered around live, improvised ambient music from a curated mix of renowned international artists and emerging voices — ranging from instrumental to modular, vocal to experimental. Together, they co-create a sonic landscape that invites you to slow down, soften, and restore.
In addition to the meditation, PR is creating and serving an adaptogenic welcome tonic included with the ticket. In The Atrium, a limited-time holistic menu leveraging medicinal plants, whole foods, and superfoods will be served alongside the BRUNCH menu.
Adjacent to The Nursery, The Atrium at Public Records is a plant-based restaurant + cocktail bar serving a globally-inspired collection of dishes, operating Wed–Sat 6–11 pm and Sat–Sun 11–4 pm. Make a reservation before/after your show via Resy here: http://bit.ly/4loDjTg.
