He is joined on stage by musicians from the Marmoucha Orchestra and special guest Aziz Ozouss, who add vibrant layers with vocals, percussion, guitar, and traditional North African instruments. The musical concept draws inspiration from Efe’s deep fascination with the historical Trans-Saharan trade route, stretching from Casablanca to Cairo. While this ancient route fostered cultural exchange and diversity, it also carries a dark legacy—marked by the brutal history of the trans-Saharan slave trade.
