Force, a party dedicated to exploring the ever-expanding possibilities of electronic music, returns to Womb for its 47th edition on Friday, July 25. With a belief in the power of music without words to communicate beyond language, Force continues to expand its circle of shared creation. Headlining the main floor is Human Space Machine, a DJ/producer based in Amsterdam, making his Japan debut. Known for his soundscapes that blend progressive elements with psychedelic textures, he brings a unique sonic journey to Tokyo. Opening the night is adak7, a trusted figure in Tokyo’s deep underground scene, while Yukimasa, the founder of Force, will take the reins for the closing set. On the 1st floor, Primal is curated once again by Herbalistek and Dayzero, diving deep into the essence of bass music. Featured guests include Ena, a cutting-edge Japanese producer known for his experimental sounds derived from dance music. With four consecutive appearances at Berlin Atonal, he stands as one of Japan’s most respected artists. Joining him is Tei Tei, a Beijing-born, Tokyo-based artist whose liberated sensibility fuels her work both locally and abroad, including return shows in China and expanding into Asia. The 4th floor hosts Extreme House Terror (E.H.T.), an irregular series curated by Celter, who appeared at the very first Force held at Womb. Guest Ryokei, known for his cross-border experience and as co-founder of Alien Sex Friends with P-yan, brings his deep-rooted perspective. Also featured is Kyomi (鏡民), an artist who defies genre boundaries with an alternative signature sound where intellect meets instinct—inviting dancers into a parallel dimension across Japan.
