ISAbella is a Colombian-born DJ and producer who has become a central figure in Barcelona’s club scene, particularly through her work with the LGBTQ+ collective MARICAS, which she co-founded. Known for creating inclusive spaces both musically and socially, she’s helped shape a vibrant queer nightlife culture in the city. Her early efforts included launching the Mistress club night in 2016, but it was MARICAS—established in 2018—that solidified her influence and introduced a fresh, queer energy to Barcelona’s dancefloors.Beyond DJing, ISAbella has made her mark as a producer with releases on MARICAS Records and Peach Discs, and she gained international recognition through appearances at major festivals and clubs like Glastonbury, Fabric, and Dekmantel Selectors. She also innovated during the pandemic with the livestream series *The Art of Staying at Home*. Now an in-demand artist globally, ISAbella continues to use her platform to uplift her community, pushing for visibility and connection through the universal language of music.
